My name is Will, and I'm the man behind Optimise Derby. I have a passion for all things marketing that stems back to my much younger years when I remember hearing and seeing different adverts on the TV or radio, and being fascinated the way they'd entice you in. I took this passion with me to University, where I came out with a First Class Degree in Digital Marketing (is this starting to sound like a CV?). After this, I was offered a job at one of the top creative agencies in the UK, Fluid Ideas. I still work there as an SEO & Content Manager, but have recently decided to offer my services to small businesses in Derby. I noticed that many are missing out on valuable customers as their digital marketing channels simply aren't where they should be, so I'm here to put this right.
Continuing with the CV agenda: In my spare time I love running, playing golf and seeing my family & friends.
I believe that someone in my position, with my skills, should apply and utilise them to create value. Working with small businesses in the Derby area through Optimise Derby allows me to do this. I'm not just boosting search rankings or improving social impressions, I'm helping a small business owner achieve their business goals and move closer towards their dreams.
